apparently unnumbered, with lacquered-brass 'T'-frame, signed on the arc Ramsden London, the scale divided -2½°-0°-130°, Vernier with magnifier, braced index arm, adjustable telescope socket, two telescopes, mirrors, six shades, hardwood handle, contained in original fitted mahogany keystone case -- 16 x 17in. (40.5 x 43cm.)

Sextant: Fine overall condition - frame retains areas of original lacquer, no loose or missing parts evident; signature good, scales generally good but are more worn at the left end of the arc where it may have been held in use; Case: Good overall condition, internal locating blocks have been repaired, and the central retaining block inside lid re-glued, one tube located, the other (smaller) is loose and doesn't allow the lid to close if placed in the side socket unless it's partially dismantled.
